Should I go to Walt Disney World right now?
Go if…
You love checking crowd calendars and low crowds are really important to how you plan your travel.
You love a flexible touring plan instead of loads of planing. With no FastPasses, but still low wait times, if flexibility is important to you, now is a great time to travel.
You love riding every attraction - even multiple times. Right now wait times are averaging 20 minutes on even the most popular rides including Flight of Passage. Today we waited only 10!
You love spending time at the pool. With such low occupancy levels at the hotels, you can always find an open lounge chair. Bonus, no face coverings when you’re seated!
You’re really itching to travel, but want to feel safe. Disney is going above and beyond to implement social distancing and cleanliness measures. Check out our review here. https://aavacay.com/blog/the-3-most-important-things-you-need-to-know-about-walt-disneys-worlds-reopening
Wait if…
Shows/parades/fireworks are an important part of your trip - Many of these are currently paused, although we have been impressed with the character cavalcades and other fun moments with characters.
You’re really into one on one character interaction at meet & greets or dining experiences - Disney is doing their best to get characters out there, but it’s definitely not the same as giving Mickey a hug.
You’re a first time visitor or looking for a once in a lifetime trip. Although wait times and crowd levels are low (a dream for those of us who travel here often), if you’ve been dreaming of your trip for a long time, it will look a little different right now.
You’re a Disney foodie and that’s a really important part of your trip. Some snack carts, kiosks, quick-service and sit-down dining are not open or have very limited menu items.
Travel is more than just time away, we believe in the adventure and the magic of travel. Click here to start your adventure today!
