The 3 Most Important Things You Need to Know About Walt Disney World’s Reopening
Thinking about a trip to Walt Disney World? We know right now is a new era in travel, and you may be wondering, “What’s it like at the most magical place on earth?” Well we can help! We at Pixie & Pan made the familiar trek to Orlando for the reopening of the Parks. And here’s what we learned . . .
Cleanliness
Hand Sanitizing Stations are everywhere! Before and after every attraction, at the entrance to the parks, restaurants and shops. It’s hard to walk more than a few yards without finding one.
Cast members are cleaning the attractions (including deep cleaning approximately every hour), including handrails, tables, charge pin pads & other high-touch points throughout the parks.
Hotel rooms are undergoing enhanced cleaning procedures with focus on 11 major touch points.
Restaurants are using disposable or smart scan menus.
Social Distancing
Disney is using the every other line queue when possible. If it’s not possibly they are using plexiglass between lines. It is also being used in all load zones when needed.
Markings for where to stand in line queues as well as checkout lines in the shops and at all dining locations show guests where to stand to maintain proper social distancing.
Dining tables are socially distanced with table markers showing which tables are not available
Magic
Character Cavalcades and random character experiences throughout the day feel more intimate, celebratory and magical.
SHORT wait times and low crowds help make your park experience feel more exclusive.
Cast members are overjoyed to welcome guests back and are as helpful and friendly as always.
Disney Bubble really makes guests feel safe and comfortable
