Quick Service Favorites: Epcot

We're ranking our favorite quick service locations at each park, including recommendations for what you won't want to miss eating while in Disney World.  Counting down our top 4 favorites in the foodie favorite park - Epcot!

4. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

This spot tucked back in  Epcot’s France Pavilion is worth a visit if only to walk through Disney’s version of Parisian streets, and the menu is top-notch. Every sandwich has a unique ingredient that elevates the standard lunch fare. Ham & cheese with bechamel sauce on a croissant or apples, brie & cranberries - yum. Or choose lobster bisque in a bread bowl or a cheese plate and a freshly baked baguette.

Plus the pastries are all delish, from eclairs to beignets, and other desserts like creme brûlée too. You’ll find something here and say Oui Oui!

3. La Cantina de San Angel

Whatever Mexican dish you crave it’ll be on the menu at this quick service location. Tacos, empanadas and nachos with sides of black beans and guacamole will satisfy any appetite. There’s even something for the picky kiddo in your group, with chicken nuggets and mac n cheese. Fried plantains or churros for your sweet tooth, and adult beverages as well. With plenty of covered seating along the World Showcase Lagoon try this spot for a truly relaxing meal.

2. Regal Eagle Smokehouse

One of the newest quick service restaurants at Epcot is a big hit, and it’s easy to see why. Regal Eagle Smokehouse features barbecue favorites like pulled pork, chicken and brisket, all named after American cities famous for their own personal take on BBQ, as well as backyard staples like baked beans and coleslaw.

We loved every dish on the menu. Top off your meal with the banana pudding or s’mores brownie, or fresh cut watermelon. For the adults are craft beers, wine and a boozy Tennessee Lemonade!

1. Katsura Grill

If you want good food in a peaceful, gorgeous setting, Katsura Grill is a perfect pick. Sushi rolls, noodle dishes, teriyaki platters, miso soup and edamame plus chicken salad, chicken curry or chicken wings, there’s really something for everyone.

We place this atop our list because the dishes are all terrifically authentic and delicious, and dining here in a tranquil garden atop a hill feels like a respite during a busy park day. And to really relax try the adult beverages like Sake, Japanese draft beer and Japanese cocktails. Kids meals and dessert are available, too. Yuzu cheesecake anyone?

Notable Snacks

Everything at Karamell Kuche in Germany is incredibly delicious, but our favorite has to be the caramel popcorn. Get it freshly made and eat while still warm. It’s divine!

The poutine at Refreshment Port in Canada is definitely one of the best savory snacks in all of Disney World! Each season offers a different flavor variation and no matter what version you try, it’s sure to satisfy.

Honorable Mention

Sunshine Seasons inside the Land Pavilion is a solid go-to for any appetite. With cafeteria style counter service there’s something for everyone. You’ll find salads and sandwiches, burgers and flatbreads and plenty of desserts.

Festivals, Festivals, Festivals!

And of course, we can’t mention eating in Epcot without highlighting the Festivals throughout the year. Whether you’re at the Festival of the Arts in January & February or the Festival of the Holidays from Thanksgiving thru Christmas, whatever outdoor kitchen you visit, you’re in for some amazing food. We make a point to have at least one dinner stopping around World Showcase for 3 or 4 dishes. Favorites include Italy for yummy pasta, Flavors from the Fire for hearty beef dishes, Hawaii for creations infused with tropical flavors and Shimmering Sips for ice cream and adult smoothie-type delights.
